PhotoEat aimed to be an innovative shop – a space where photography meets coffee and photography.
Firstly the client requested us to design the architectural project. The mood was supposed to be innovative, industrial and fun. The colour palette was composed by black, white, a strong yellow and a neutral grey. The use of rough wood combined with concrete floors, metallic elements and black painted walls was able to express the industrial feeling. Then we started to create the interior design splashed with metallic yellow elements – chairs and wall signage.
Quickly, we were creating a whole brand identity, it started with signage then the logo design and all the collateral elements – business cards, menus, flyers, outdoor advertisers. The colour palette follow the same rules of the architectural one.
We created a logo that marries the concept of a cup of coffee and a photography’s machine using iconic symbols within an infinity sign. The bold handwriting lettering joins the yellow and brings the fun into the project.
To enhance the industrial and fun mood, the whole brand identity is spotted with a wide range of icons. It was a successful and fun project – it was our first project !
